The Glo Mega Music show practically shut down the city of Accra with stellar performances by the A-list music superstars organized to delight subscribers and friends of Glo Mobile.<\/p>\n
The event was held at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair, Accra on Saturday, August 25, 2018.<\/p>\n
With music heavyweights such as Davido, Sarkodie, Kuami Eugene, Yemi Alade, Flavour, Tekno and Patapaa, the packed Fantasy Dome venue experienced no dull moment from the curtain raiser till the final act in the wee hours of Sunday. The crowd enjoyed every minute of it and even wanted more.<\/p>\n

The startling performances by unsung talents, some of who were hugging the limelight on such a huge platform for the first time ever, set the tone for a beautiful experience for the highly appreciative crowd.<\/p>\n

Comedian Gordons, who was one of the anchors of the show, described these upcoming talents as the stars of the years to come.<\/p>\n
The Fantasy Dome venue was filled to the brim with enthusiastic subscribers and friends of the Glo brand, many of who could not help but watch the entire stretch of the show on their feet just in order not to miss any part of the action. The various music stars equally gave excellent performance to justify their popularity.<\/p>\n

Patapaa, who was the opening act among the stars, got on stage with a tumultuous and thunderous ovation. He did not disappoint as he gave a good showing to a very appreciative crowd.<\/p>\n

Yemi Alade took the crowd on a tour of her songs and the crowd was home with the vibes. She dug deep into the archives to bring out \u201cJohnny\u201d, lacing it with other loved tracks such as \u201cNagode\u201d, \u201cKofi Annan\u201d, \u201cFerrari\u201d, Marry Me, \u201cTumbum\u201d, \u201cKnack Am\u201d, etc.<\/p>\n

The Oyolima crooner, Flavour was also at his best on that night. He sang such loved tunes that included popular tracks such as Baby Na Yoka, Sexy Rosey, Nwa Baby, Ashawo, Ada Ada and many others. He concluded his performance with a beautiful rendition of the hit tune, Most High.<\/p>\n

Kuami Eugene, the \u2018Angela\u2019 hitmaker was a delight to watch on stage performing that song and others, including \u201cConfusion\u201d, \u201cWish Me Well\u201d, among others. The ladies just loved his stage presence and engagement and the crowd simply couldn\u2019t stop screaming in ecstasy.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlhaji\u201d Tekno was simply awesome with a perfect that got many dancing. His popular tunes including \u201cJogodo\u201d, \u201cPana\u201d and \u201cDiana\u201d were just amazing with the crowd singing along every line of the songs. Expectedly, the ladies had a glimpse of his trademark six-park on stage.<\/p>\n

Sarkodie left nobody in doubt as to why he is considered one of the best on the continent. The acclaimed leader of the \u201cSarknation\u201d, who was having his first major performance after wedding heartthrob, was simply a delight to watch, dishing out his notable songs to an audience that kept singing along and wanting more.<\/p>\n

Davido \u2018s performance, which was the climax for the night, was as electrifying as should be expected of such a big star. He got nearly everyone on their feet dancing as though the night had just started and even the VIP area was turned into a feverish dance floor.<\/p>\n

The event had comedian Gordons and celebrated TV personality, Nana Aba Anamoah as hosts, with Basketmouth and Salma Mumin as celebrity guests.<\/p>\n
Glo also took advantage of the presence of its subscribers at the event to introduce unarguably the best proposition for data addicts across Ghana.<\/p>\n
