Former President\u00a0John Mahama<\/strong><\/a>has urged the newly elected regional executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to rally all members of the party to enable it to win the 2020 general election.<\/p>\n

While congratulating the new executives on Sunday, Mahama said their election should mark the beginning of hard work to ensure unity ahead of 2020 polls.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe real work has just begun and we must all put our shoulders to the wheel going forward,\u201d Mahama said in a statement on Facebook.<\/p>\n

Before the elections, he stressed the\u00a0need for unity<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0among the executives saying that there would be no winners or losers at the end of the polls.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith our goal firmly fixed on victory in the 2020 elections, the NDC can only be better off if we come out of these elections across the ten regions united,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
