Actress Martha Ankomah has begged investors to invest their monies into Ghana\u2019s ailing movie industry.<\/p>\n
According to her, most people in the acting profession are living a life of misery but pretend all is well on social media just to remain relevant.<\/p>\n
She noted that some actors and actresses act for free or peanut just to keep the industry afloat and therefore, Corporate Ghana should come in to revive the sick industry.<\/p>\n
She made this known in an interview with Joy News MzGee.<\/p>\n
She said \u201cI feel very bad but also very disappointed in what Gabby said. I\u2019ll be so glad if Gabby can actually talk to the people who are investing to come to invest in our movie industry\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou and I know things are not okay with us. It is just social media hype. It is just trying to feel significant in public. You know I won\u2019t lie, there\u2019s nothing happening so I\u2019m begging you, movie industry, we really need help, we really need investors what you see on Instagram and Facebook is not real.\u201d<\/p>\n
