Owusu Bempah\u2019s\u00a0Glorious Word and Power Ministries International church at Odorkor by some\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/2019\/01\/02\/irate-youth-attack-owusu-bempahs-church-over-death-prophecies\/\">irate youth<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0over Mr. Bempah\u2019s death prophecies concerning key leaders of the country.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The statement signed by the\u00a0Director General of Public Affairs of the Police, ASP David Eklu said religious leaders must be circumspect in their utterances in order not to breach public peace and cause fear and panic among the population.<\/p>\n<p>The Police Administration has observed with concern a worrying trend of prophecies made by religious persons about the death of certain individuals which have the tendency of breaching public peace and causing fear and panic in the country. The Police Administration is, therefore, cautioning these persons who make such pronouncements to be mindful of the security implications of their utterances, the statement said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The police also cautioned the media against allowing its medium to be used to publish such commentaries.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Also media reportage on such pronouncements and the interpretations put on the pronouncements in the media is also disturbing. As a result, the Police Administration is cautioning editors, media practitioners, discussants and owners of media establishments to be circumspect and exercise the necessary editorial responsibility to ensure that the media is not used as a tool for aiding breach of the peace and causing fear and panic.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Concerning the attack on Owusu Bempah\u2019s church, the police said it has\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/2019\/01\/04\/one-arrested-and-granted-bail-over-attack-on-owusu-bempahs-church\/\">arrested one suspect\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>and granted him bail.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_472487\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-472487 disappear mom_appear\" src=\"https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Owusu-Bempah-1.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 788px) 100vw, 788px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Owusu-Bempah-1.jpg 788w, https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Owusu-Bempah-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Owusu-Bempah-1-768x433.jpg 768w\" alt=\"\" width=\"788\" height=\"444\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Rev.
