Reggae and dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has expressed his support for embattled CEO of Zylofon Media and Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah popularly known in showbiz circles as NAM1.<\/p>\n
In an interview with Nana Adwoa Sarkodie of\u00a0Citi TV,<\/strong>\u00a0the artiste confirmed that his contract with Zylofon Music had expired but said his support and best wishes still remained with NAM 1.<\/p>\n \u201cWherever he is, however it is, he knows I am a soldier and I am right behind him for who he is as a person; a kind-hearted [person] with a great heart,\u201d he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n He also spoke about rumours that Zylofon Media had collapsed because of the Menzgold saga.<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t say that Zylofon Music or Zylofon Media is no more because I don\u2019t think that there is any official letter or news by Zylofon Media that says we are closing or shutting down,\u201d he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n He expressed gratitude to Nana Appiah Mensah for supporting the creative sector.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m so grateful for the opportunity that once came for me to meet Nana Appiah Mensah to even enter into that agreement as a dream of his to push the industry and own a brand that will support creative arts in Ghana,\u201d he noted.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Menzgold was asked to stop operation following in a directive from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).<\/p>\n It stated that the gold dealership firm did not have the licence to operate.<\/p>\n In the wake of this, Menzgold customers have asked the government to find ways of retrieving their monies for them.<\/p>\n Currently, Nana Appiah Mensah is not in Ghana and a court has issued an arrest warrant for him.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, he is facing a misdemeanour charge over a US$23 million deal gone bad in Dubai.<\/p>\n \u2013<\/p>\n Source: Citinewsroom.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Reggae and dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has expressed his support for embattled CEO of Zylofon Media and Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah popularly known in showbiz circles as NAM1.
