Owusu Bempah<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ghana Journalist Association has condemned an alleged attack on some staff of Radio XYZ by founder of the Glorious Word and Power Ministries International, Isaac Owusu Bempah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Owusu Bempah on Friday reportedly stormed the offices of Radio XYZ in Accra with armed men, threatening to kill one of the station\u2019s presenters, Mugabe Maase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Affail-Monney.jpg\" alt=\"Affail Monney\" class=\"wp-image-389524\"\/><figcaption>Affail Monney,President of the Ghana Journalist Association(GJA)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>He is reported to have stormed the premises of the radio station with four gun wielding men in search of Maase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the process, he and his armed men allegedly manhandled the administrator and other staff of the radio station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The GJA, in a statement called on the Ghana Police Service to \u201cimmediately arrest Owusu Bempah and prosecute him in order to deter him, his assigns and other like-minded persons from conducting themselves in similar manner in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana under Article 17 (1) provides in unambiguous terms that no person is above the law. That constitutional provision must be upheld by reorienting Owusu-Bempah as being a subject, not lord, of the law.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The GJA also called on the Christian Council of Ghana, among others to \u201croundly condemn the violent conduct of Owusu Bempah.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This attack comes months after Mr. Bempah vandalized a laptop and Microphone belonging to Accra based radio station, Hot FM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source:Citinewsroom.co<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ghana Journalist Association has condemned an alleged attack on some staff of Radio XYZ by founder of the Glorious Word and Power Ministries International, Isaac Owusu Bempah.
