Here, she expressed concerns about whether or not the relationship should be considered \u2018moral incest\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sharing her story, the mum explained that she\u2019d had her first child when she was very young and went on to marry her ex-partner when her daughter was just 11-years-old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Though he never legally adopted her, the man raised her daughter as his own. She even changed her surname to her stepfather\u2019s and called him&nbsp;\u2018dad\u2019 for more than 20 years, the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/femail\/article-4577268\/Mother-s-ex-husband-relationship-daughter.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Daily Mail&nbsp;<\/em><\/a>reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What\u2019s more, the daughter now has a young son of her own who refers to him as \u2018Pappy\u2019 \u2013 as in grandfather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt just feels so wrong on every level,\u2019 she wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI know biologically it\u2019s not incest, but morally it feels like it. I\u2019m in total shock and haven\u2019t been able to speak to them since.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Horrified by her story, other Mumsnet users rallied round to comfort the distressed woman but voiced their concerns about when the relationship might have started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI would be wondering what he was feeling when he was looking at her, or hugging her as a child,\u201d one woman wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another agreed adding, \u201cI would want to know exactly how and when it started and when he first became sexually attracted to her. There is a good chance she has been groomed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Others however insisted that the woman should tread carefully in case her daughter needs to turn to her for support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou must be distraught.
