Mr Kelly said he had wanted the president to be fully informed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf by \u2018resistance\u2019 and \u2018stalling\u2019 she means putting a staff process in place\u2026 to ensure [Mr Trump] knew all the pros and cons of what policy decision he might be contemplating so he could make an informed decision, then guilty as charged,\u201d Mr Kelly told US broadcaster CBS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr Trump tweeted his approval of the book, writing:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realDonaldTrump\/status\/1193665354729431040\">\u201cGood luck Nikki!\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does she say in the book?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms Haley says Mr Kelly and Mr Tillerson told her they \u201cweren\u2019t being subordinate, they were trying to save the country\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt was their decisions, not the president\u2019s, that were in the best interests of America, they said,\u201d she wrote in her book With All Due Respect, which was seen by the Washington Post before its release on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr Tillerson, she added, told her people would die if the president were not restrained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms Haley, 47, said she had refused the request from Mr Kelly and Mr Tillerson, and called it \u201cdangerous\u201d and \u201coffensive\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cInstead of saying that to me they should have been saying that to the president, not asking me to join them on their sidebar plan,\u201d she told CBS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt should have been \u2013 go tell the president what your differences are and quit if you don\u2019t like what he\u2019s doing. But to undermine a president\u2026 it is really a very dangerous thing and it goes against the constitution, and it goes against what the American people want.
