{"id":15303,"date":"2020-06-10T19:41:52","date_gmt":"2020-06-10T19:41:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinegh.com\/?p=15303"},"modified":"2020-06-10T19:41:55","modified_gmt":"2020-06-10T19:41:55","slug":"election-2020-is-a-win-for-ndc-mahama-predicts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinetv.com\/?p=15303","title":{"rendered":"Election 2020 is a win for NDC-Mahama predicts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Former President of Ghana,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mynewsgh.com\/john-mahama-and-gabby-trade-jabs-over-running-mate\/\">John Mahama<\/a>&nbsp;has predicted the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will win the impending elections if the referees(Electoral Commission) of the election ensure that it is free, fair and transparent<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr Mahama was speaking at the flag-raising ceremony to mark the 28th Anniversary of the NDC, in Accra on Wednesday, 10th June 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The leader of the NDC said, \u201cIf the election \u2013 and I know it will \u2013 is free and fair, there can be no outcome other than the NDC emerging victorious in this election\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The National Democratic Congress has said that the Electoral Commission is doing the bidding of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the NDC, the Electoral Commission\u2019s insistence on the use of the Ghana Card and Passport which most Ghanaians do not have access to for identification during the compilation of a new voters register is an indication of a move by the Electoral Commission to rig the election for the NPP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To avoid rigging of the elections, the former President who is seeking another term said: \u201cAll members of our grassroots, branches, we face an epic election this year and I want to salute our activists at the branch and constituency levels\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added: \u201cOur victory in this election is going to rest on your shoulders\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are fighting at the national level even with the constraint we face as an opposition party to get the resources necessary for you to prosecute your work\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI wish to state emphatically that we\u2019ll support you to police the poll right from the point of voting until the final results are declared.
