The paramount chief of the Ejisu Traditional Area of the Ashanti region, Oguakro Afrane Okese IV is in hot waters as youth loyal to the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ejisu Constituency, Kwabena Owusu Aduomi call for his head after calling the legislator a \u201cfoolish man\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Concerned Youth of Besease say they will take the law into their own hands and \u201cdiscipline\u201d the chief if he fails to apologise to their kinsman within one week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MyNewsGh.com reported on Wednesday that the chief had described the Ejisu MP who is also a Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways as a \u201cfoolish man\u201d, when Lawyer John Kumah, the victor in last Saturday\u2019s parliamentary primaries of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) went to his palace for his blessings after been declared the winner of the elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chief also questioned the academic and professional credentials of the MP and likened his civil engineering qualification to a \u201ccommon mason\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hon. Kwabena Owusu Aduomi however in a Facebook post called for \u201ccalm\u201d and asked his supporters not to react to the Ejisumanhene\u2019s rants since he still loved and respected him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But in another video sighted by MyNews, a group of young persons calling themselves the Concerned Youth of Besease expressed their outrage at the chief\u2019s description of their kinsman who has dedicated 12 years of his lifetime to serving the people of Ejisu as an MP and also the Ejisu stool as a sub-chief in the Kyidom Division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They called on the Asanteman Traditional Council to immediately call the Ejisumanhene to order or they do it their own way if the chief fails to apologise to the NPP MP within one week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of the members of the Concerned Youth of Besease also threw some unprintable invectives at the chief and warned that he would be dethroned if he continues to tread the path of disrespecting his subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ejisumanhene, Oguakro Afrane Okese IV has not made any public comments after the video in which he was insulting the MP went viral on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some social media users have also dressed him down and described his attitude as \u201cshocking\u201d and \u201cunfortunate\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
