{"id":16263,"date":"2020-07-07T20:02:48","date_gmt":"2020-07-07T20:02:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinegh.com\/?p=16263"},"modified":"2020-07-07T20:02:50","modified_gmt":"2020-07-07T20:02:50","slug":"i-saw-god-after-smoking-weed-elton-john-insists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinetv.com\/?p=16263","title":{"rendered":"I saw God after smoking weed \u2013 Elton John Insists"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/elton-john\">Elton John<\/a>&nbsp;has insisted that he \u2018saw God\u2019 after smoking weed during a creative music session.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The singing legend, 73, has recalled one crazy night where he tripped out after smoking the drug while listening to electronic dance music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The combination of the high running through his veins and the music beats running through his mind left the singer in a state of bliss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This resulted in Elton seeing God before his eyes after being taken to a \u2018higher place\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the Rocket Man has been sober for several decades now, he is not shy about opening up on his past drug-fuelled nights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The soundtrack which raised him higher than he had ever been was German dance album Trans-Europe Express by Kraftwerk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking about his \u2018trip\u2019 on his Apple Music series Rocket Hour, the musical genius admitted that it\u2019s a record he will never forget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The star explained: \u201cI love that because it was the first record I ever heard that really sounded German as far as pop music went.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI remember smoking a joint and listening to it on really loud speakers and I thought I saw God during that album.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although he can happily reminisce on the crazy nights he endured in the studio, Elton has come a long way since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The iconic singer has been sober for over thirty years now, and often candidly opens up about how better his life has become since he made the decision to drop the booze once and for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/instagram\">Instagram<\/a>&nbsp;last year, Elton shared a powerful sobriety update when he revealed that saying the words \u201cI need help\u201d out loud saved his life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The star penned: \u201c29 years ago today, I was a broken man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI finally summoned up the courage to say three words that would change my life: \u2018I need help\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThank you to all the selfless people who have helped me on my journey through sobriety.
