Former Director of Communications for President John Evans-Atta Mills, Koku Anyidoho says nobody can sack him from the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), adding that he has also not left the party.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor the records, I have not left the NDC, I won\u2019t leave the NDC, nobody can sack me from the NDC, nobody can throw me out\u201d, he told an Accra based radio station monitored by MyNewsGh.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLike I said last week, the fact that doctors can go into theater to perform surgery without political colours,  using Atta Mills Institute to do same\u201d, he emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to him, the Atta Mill Institute will be used to deepen democracy and civic education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m saying, Atta Mills Institute, all we want to do is civic education, public education, advocacy. It\u2019s not partisan politics\u201d, Mr. Anyidoho said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Koku Anyidoho is one of the few people who could not believe the late President Mills had pass on on 2011<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was so close to the ex-president that people even reference him as the de facto Prime Minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m now a \u2018neutral\u2019 consultant in Ghana politics \u2013 Koku Anyidoho<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It would be recalled a few months ago that Koku Anyido has described himself as a consultant open to all political parties when it comes to the politics of Ghana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the man who only months ago was aspiring to become NDC General Secretary, he has evolved into a consultant whose utterances cannot be biased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He speaking on Starr FM with host Francis Abban who asked him if the NPP should be voted out next year. He replied that he is a consultant and people all sorts of political inclinations come to him so he can\u2019t make any definite pronouncement on the question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m a consultant for various political parties and I am working across all political divide and doing job for various political parties now. And so I won\u2019t say anything that will affect my talk on Saturday. I told you I\u2019m billed for a talk so I need to be mindful of that. I consult for many political parties now\u201d. He said..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Anyidoho appears to be aligned to the Rawlings camp in the NDC and has since assumed a more antagonistic stance against his party, the NDC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love Mills; but I worked for Mahama<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When prodded with a line of questioning on whether that love translated to John Mahama, Mr. Anyidoho simply implied that his relationship with Mr. Mahama was merely an obligatory working relationship, noting that love was \u201cconditional\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an 2017, Koku Anyidoho ignited controversy when he said in an appearance on Accra-based GHOne TV\u2019s current affairs programme, State of Affairs that he loved Mills but he only worked for Mahama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI will never regret working for him\u2026 President Mills, I salute you in your grave. Nobody will take that away from me,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stated that, he loved the NDC as a party and that \u201cleadership will rotate\u201d adding that \u201cI loved President Mills; I worked for President Mahama.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
