I went to his father and told him this is what has happened so what are we going to do? But it seemed to me the father didn\u2019t take the matter seriously. He took it as a normal thing. Then I told him if he is not going to do anything about it then I\u2019m going to take action. Then my lawyer came in\u201d. Pat Thomas said this in an interview with Pure FM in Kumasi monitored by\u00a0MyNews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHe later called me to settle it but by then I had taken it to court.&nbsp; I think I asked for 50 million but I had only 20 million\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tic, born Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah in the year 2004 released his \u201cM\u2019asem\u201d album with its Pat Thomas\u2019 interpolated \u201cMenka Biom\u201d and other three songs of which all enjoyed massive airplay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His song \u201cMenka Biom\u201d stayed on the chart for more than 22 weeks and went ahead to win him the \u201cArtiste of the Year\u201d at the Ghana Music Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Pat Thomas speaking in his interview disclosed that Tic would have been in trouble if it were to be today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Pat Thomas, Tic took every part of his song and treated it like his.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However Tic in series of interview, had said he regrets doing that because he didn\u2019t know the consequence of actions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source:\u00a0MyNewsGH.com\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Veteran Highlife musician and producer Kwabena Nyamekye Amoo-Mensah known by his stage name as Pat Thomas has revealed that he sued Hiplife musician Tic formerly Tic Tac because his father disrespected him.
