I am actually working on my PhD in Theology as well. I am done with Philosophy, I am doing my Theology. I just don\u2019t come out to tell the world this is what I am studying,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also added that he \u201cworked hard\u201d to earn all the laurels he has today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also said: \u201cWhen I started ministry, some of you were students in school\u2013 Senior High, Junior High, or whatever\u2013 but today the internet has given you the strength and voice to talk\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t even know how old they are and the audacity they have to disrespect other people\u2026.it doesn\u2019t move me, it doesn\u2019t touch me because I know their mindset. That\u2019s why I don\u2019t live there, I know the mindset of my people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/sonnie2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-735688\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This comes on the back of the backlash Sonnie Badu received after he claimed that he has been awarded three degrees in a space of four months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He had said that apart from his two honorary doctorate degrees, he also has a PhD, a master\u2019s degree, and a bachelor\u2019s degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But a Twitter user called @mnm_mensa said after using Google Scholar search and emails to dig deep into all Mr. Badu\u2019s certificates, he found no results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tweep said he also reached out to the Council for Higher Education Accreditation \u2013 the institution responsible for the accreditation of all universities and colleges in the United States of America \u2013 to confirm if Trinity International University of Ambassadors, a place Sonnie Bodu acquired most of his certificates existed, but the feedback proved otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/tweet1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-735689\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/tweet2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-735690\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This has re-ignited the conversation of how people buy academic titles for themselves without necessarily working for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sonnie Badu is also the founder of Rock Hill church in the United States of America.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ghanaian gospel musician based in the United Kingdom, Sonnie Badu, has fired back at critics who challenged the authenticity of his three academic degrees.
