The choir has released a new single, \u201cEnyo\u201d, featuring multiple award-winning gospel artiste, Joe Mettle, on lead vocals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The song is also the third collaboration between Joe Mettle and Bethel Revival Choir following Joe\u2019s appearance on two popular songs, \u201cEwe Praise Medley (Vovome)\u201d and \u201cMawu Gbagbe\u201d, of Bethel Revival Choir\u2019s ground breaking sophomore album \u2013 \u201cAkpe\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEnyo\u201d translates to \u201cHe (God) is Good\u201d in the Ewe dialect. It is Bethel Revival Choir\u2019s first single of 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The group has been actively producing songs since last year and working toward its third album despite the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. The group released two singles last year: \u201cRevival\u201d in November 2020 and \u201cAgbadza Gospel Medley 2\u201d in December 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Henry Datsomor, the Music Director for the group, \u201cWe are excited to share our new single, \u201cEnyo\u201d, with everyone. With all that we went through last year, it is only right our first song of the year is a thanksgiving song. \u201cEnyo\u201d is our token of gratitude to God for His goodness and unfailing mercies for all we have been through and at all times. We have resolved to sing about God\u2019s goodness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bethel Revival Choir is a contemporary gospel music group under the Global Evangelical Church located at Kotobabi in Accra, Ghana. The choir won the hearts of many after the release of their \u201cAkpe\u201d album in 2018. The group has so far been nominated for three consecutive years for the Group of the Year category in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) which it won in 2018 when nominated for the first time. The group also won three awards in the 2018 edition of 3Music Awards and gained several nominations in other awards schemes including National Gospel Awards, Ghana Music Awards USA and Maranatha Gospel Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
