{"id":20705,"date":"2021-05-11T14:43:58","date_gmt":"2021-05-11T14:43:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinegh.com\/?p=20705"},"modified":"2021-05-11T14:43:59","modified_gmt":"2021-05-11T14:43:59","slug":"senior-capos-of-gaf-inducted-into-office","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinetv.com\/?p=20705","title":{"rendered":"Senior Capos Of GAF Inducted Into Office"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Chief of the Defence Staff, (CDS) Vice Admiral Seth Amoama; the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu and the Chief of Staff (COS) at the General Headquarters, Major General Nicholas Peter Andoh, were officially inducted into office on Sunday 9 May 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This follows their appointment by the President of the Republic and the Commander-in-chief of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The induction ceremony, which was held at the Garrison Methodist Presbyterian Church at Burma Camp was under the theme: \u201cYou are a chosen vessel of Christ\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/scontent.facc4-1.fna.fbcdn.net\/v\/t1.6435-9\/185448757_4104319926283064_5072833397352889916_n.jpg?_nc_cat=111&amp;ccb=1-3&amp;_nc_sid=8bfeb9&amp;_nc_eui2=AeF4_1JDvRk02sXRL0_dNjKlPSESm84vPNs9IRKbzi882_Rb_0rLbObWbJhpsIXaC55LFprfmkMhQHhH7KW_VsI3&amp;_nc_ohc=ihindvfUEzkAX-162H-&amp;_nc_ht=scontent.facc4-1.fna&amp;oh=99b5f363e5299abb5da2adeaf57e562d&amp;oe=60BE261B\" alt=\"May be an image of one or more people, people standing and indoor\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Preaching the sermon on the subject, \u201cThe man or person God chooses\u201d, the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church, Ghana, Rt Rev Prof JOY Mantey, said God chooses all manner of people in diverse ways, whether through the election, appointment or by nomination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He sighted Abraham in the Bible, who came from a pagan home and was chosen among his people to be the father of all nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rt Rev Prof Mantey urged the three Generals to be strong and courageous, for the Lord was with them, just as He was with Joshua when he took over the mantle from Moses to lead the Israelites to the Promised Land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CDS Vice Admiral Seth Amoama, on behalf of the CNS and COS, pledged and committed themselves to work to the glory of God for the betterment of GAF and Ghana in general.
