{"id":20855,"date":"2021-05-13T08:02:40","date_gmt":"2021-05-13T08:02:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinegh.com\/?p=20855"},"modified":"2021-05-13T08:05:02","modified_gmt":"2021-05-13T08:05:02","slug":"ex-first-lady-accused-of-improper-mugabe-burial","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinetv.com\/?p=20855","title":{"rendered":"Ex-first lady accused of \u2018improper\u2019 Mugabe burial"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Former Zimbabwe\u2019s first lady, Grace Mugabe, has been summoned to appear before a traditional court over the \u201cimproper\u201d burial of the late President Robert Mugabe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The former first lady is being accused of having gone against local culture by burying her husband at the family homestead, instead of a place \u201cchosen by his relatives and mother\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a letter from Chief Zvimba, the traditional chief of Mugabe\u2019s home region, Mrs Mugabe is being required to exhume the late president\u2019s body so that he can be reburied \u201caccording to the culture of the Zvimba people\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She has also been asked to pay a fine cattle and a goat for the violation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mugabe died in 2019 a hospital in Singapore at the age of 95.
