I have been here with my team and many people have been rendered homeless. A lot of houses have been burnt. Three people died, including the driver and his mate, as well as a two-year-old,\u201d Mr. Agyemang-Prempeh said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Onyina-Nofo-explosion-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-750888\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>He said NADMO had to improvise to provide a temporary shelter for displaced residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Onyina-Nofo-explosion-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-750886\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from NADMO, the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana National Fire Service were at the scene to bring the situation under control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Agyemang-Prempeh said the explosion occurred when the driver of the fuel tanker tried to negotiate a curve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhere the village is situated is at a sharp curve, and so when the tanker negotiated a curve, it just fell to the other side.
