Fox reflected on her relationship with 50 Cent, calling him the \u201clove of my life\u201d\u2014and not for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The actress and rapper dated in 2003, and despite their very public split, she says she still cares about him almost two decades later. \u201cHe\u2019s such a gentleman, he\u2019s very generous. I know him as Curtis, always will,\u201d Fox said, mentioning how he filled her house with flowers on her birthday when they were initially dating. \u201cWhat killed the relationship is that we&nbsp;just went way too public way too fast,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe love that I had for him and still to this day. \u2026\u00a0He was the love of my life, I will admit that without any reservations. He will always have a very special place in my heart.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At one point, she said, Fif was even going to propose to her with a 12-carat ring. \u201cHe got mad at me and turned it into a pair of earrings,\u201d she laughed. \u201cThe relationship broke up after the World Music Awards. I came back and he was on the radio saying he dumped me.\u201d When a friend of hers called her to relay that 50 Cent said they broke up, Fox replied, \u201cWe did? Huh. So he never personally said, \u2018it\u2019s a wrap.\u2019 \u2026&nbsp;We really loved each other a lot at the time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the way it ended, the\u00a0<em>Independence Day<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Kill Bill<\/em>\u00a0star\u00a0said, \u201cWe\u2019re cool now, there\u2019s peace.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After catching wind of what Fox had to say, 50 Cent\u2019s girlfriend\u00a0Cuban Link\u00a0decided to chime in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Posting in the comments section on a post from the Shade Room, Cuban wrote, \u201cAwwww\u201d alongside a violin emoji and a smiley face surrounded by hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuban Link has been dating 50 Cent since at least 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fox responded\u00a0shortly after via her Instagram Stories, writing, \u201cWell!\u00a0This is getting good\u00a0cause I tried to post 3 times on @ShadeRoom. Now, @_Cuban_Link, what that clip didn\u2019t show was that I said he now has a hawt girlfriend &amp; I\u2019m happy 4 him! So stay in ya bag\u00a0boo\u00a0don\u2019t get nervous!
