The former National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Yaw Boateng Gyan, has said that if Dr. Kwabena Duffour declares his intention to contest as the party\u2019s flagbearer in 2024, he will solidly support him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reacting to a publication by the Daily Post newspaper, on Okay FM\u2019s Adeakye Abua morning show with Kwame Nkrumah Tikasie on Wednesday, 15th September, 2021, Yaw Boateng Gyan said that he would be happy beyond description if Duffour expresses his intention to contest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKwame, I would be extremely happy if Dr. Duffour decides to contest as flagbearer of the NDC. I would support him wholeheartedly. If Dr. Duffour opens his mouth to declare his intent today, I would lead his campaign\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wofa Yaw Boateng Gyan also said that when he heard that John Mahama sponsored Kofi Adams to defeat him, he dismissed the rumour as malicious and false, but now he knows better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI am now coming to the realization that John Mahama indeed sponsored Kofi Adams against me. At first, I thought it wasn\u2019t true but now I have come to that realization. Mahama sponsored candidates against me\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nobody can dismiss me from the party. We gave birth to the NDC. These intimidatory tactics will not work on me. If I am anti-JM, what is wrong with it? Is JM holier than thou?\u201d Wofa Boateng Gyan asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Yaw Boateng Gyan indicated that his decision to support Duffour to lead the NDC in the 2024 elections is responsible for Michael Dokosi\u2019s vile publication against him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
