{"id":32080,"date":"2021-11-05T18:30:22","date_gmt":"2021-11-05T18:30:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinegh.com\/?p=32080"},"modified":"2021-11-05T18:30:23","modified_gmt":"2021-11-05T18:30:23","slug":"madina-mp-police-bodyguard-interdicted-over-reckless-driving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinetv.com\/?p=32080","title":{"rendered":"Madina MP Police Bodyguard Interdicted Over Reckless Driving"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Ghana Police Service administration has interdicted Inspector Daniel Agbavor, a guard assigned to the Member of Parliament for Madina, Francis Xavier Sosu for alleged misconduct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inspector Agbavor was said to have driven into a crowd after a protest march engineered by the MP last Monday, October 25, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Police in a statement, issued and signed by the Director-General, Public Affairs, ACP Kwesi Ofori, said the action of the officer directly endangered the lives of two senior officers as well as the life of civilians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to that, the parliamentary protection unit has, however, been tasked to provide a new guard to the MP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No Arrest<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the Police have denied the claims that personnel were sent to arrest the embattled MP, Francis Xavier Sosu in church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Police, the said stories circulating on the arrest of Sosu on his church premises are untrue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statement further added that any plain police personnel found on the premises of the church may have been there for intelligence purposes and not to effect an arrest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Police only stated that on the day of the protest Sosu was invited but declined to honor the invitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The police have stated that it would try all legal means necessary to interrogate the Madina MP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/baseafrica.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/313526E8-D58C-46FA-A83F-6AA55A401F06.png?ssl=1\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/baseafrica.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/313526E8-D58C-46FA-A83F-6AA55A401F06.png?resize=414%2C536&amp;is-pending-load=1#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3051\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: GNA<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Send your news stories to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:dannyboy744@gmail.com\">dannyboy744@gmail.com<\/a>\u00a0and via WhatsApp on +233 266777777<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ghana Police Service administration has interdicted Inspector Daniel Agbavor, a guard assigned to the Member of Parliament for Madina, Francis Xavier Sosu for alleged misconduct.
