Ghanaian youngster Felix Afena Gyan has rejected a call-up to the Black Stars which has been confirmed by the Ghana FA for the World Cup doubleheader against Ethiopia and South Africa this week.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Felix will not be part of the Black Stars team traveling to South Africa for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia which has been confirmed by the GFA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 18-year-old was handed a debut call up by Milovan Rajevac has turned down the offer to focus on his development as reported by GHANAsoccernet.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The handlers of the teenager have turned down the chance to represent the four-time African champions at the international level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They claim the teenager will need more time to mature and want him to focus on his development under Jose Mourinho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement from the Ghana FA, 23 players will be traveling to South Africa for the game excluding Jonathan Mensah, Thomas Partey and Felix Afena Gyan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FA stated the youngster is unavailable for the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
