During the current times of taking down statues of historical figures due to the woke crowd, the United Nations has placed a giant statue in New York that resembles an end-times \u201cbeast\u201d from the New Testament\u2019s book of Revelation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The U.N. recently tweeted a photo of the statue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA guardian for international peace and security sits on the Visitor\u2019s Plaza outside #UN Headquarters. The guardian is a fusion of jaguar and eagle and donated by the Government of Oaxaca, Mexico.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Countless critics on social media are saying the statue appears to be the likeness of the \u201cbeast\u201d the Prophet Daniel wrote about in the Old Testament and the Apostle John wrote about in the Book of Revelation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniel chapter 7:2-4 describes the beast with the body of a lion and wings of an eagle:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniel spake and said, \u201cI saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea. And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first was like a lion, and had eagle\u2019s wings.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Apostle John described a beast with similar features in the New Testament passage in Revelation 13:2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another Bible verse that\u2019s evoked by this U.N. statue to \u201cpeace and security\u201d comes straight out of an End Times warning from 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, \u2018Peace and safety!\u2019 then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape.\u201d <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Writing for The Economic Collapse blog, commentator Michael Snyder noted the statue \u201clooks like something out of a science fiction movie,\u201d not resembling any known creature on this planet. You can see a video of the statue here<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDid they really think that they could put this up without anyone noticing?\u201d Snyder asked.  \u201cAnd just by coincidence, it has been painted in LGBT colors.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Facebook user Kelly Caudill also noticed the similarities and wrote about it in a recent post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWow you just can\u2019t make this stuff up\u2026The new UNITED NATIONS sculpture for \u2018Peace and Safety\u2019,\u201d she wrote, also including a large photo of the statue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caudill also mentioned the verses above and included this warning to her followers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
