Host of Onua TV morning Show Captain Smart appeared Boldly in court only to be told that the Judge to trial him Her Honour Mrs. Ellen Ofeh Aryeh is absent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the explanations given, the trial Judge is on leave. The court in its own wisdom Postponed the case to 15th February 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Onua TV morning Show host has already been charged with offensive conduct which is contrary to the breach of public peace and order. His charge is grounded in Section 207 of the criminal act 1960 ( act 29).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Captain Smart has earlier pleaded not guilty to the charges of offensive conduct or behaviour. His Television station which is under the umbrella body of Media Generale Ghana condemned Captain Smart’s arrest and detention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They threw out many allegations against the Ghana Police Service for trying to shut the mouth of journalist. They labelled that as a threat to democracy and media freedom of practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Most Ghanaians also lashed out at Media Generale and Captain Smart because his words were indeed offensive. Media Generale was labelled as a bad parent that tries to support every action of the child been it good, bad or worse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
