This is the third month into 2022 and the cedi has been hit hard as it has really declined in value when it is compared to other currencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The report was made by Joy Business and it was revealed that the cedi overtook the Zambian kwacha as the worst-performing currency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The cedi was noted to have depreciated by about 7.60% to the dollar and this shows how the country is finding it difficult to mobilize revenue and also manage expenditure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In other news, ace broadcaster, Kwame Sefa Kayi has asked the ruling government to subject the popular \u2018Free SHS\u2019 policy to a structural review five years after it was implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
