{"id":36830,"date":"2022-03-22T11:40:12","date_gmt":"2022-03-22T11:40:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinegh.com\/?p=36830"},"modified":"2022-03-22T11:40:15","modified_gmt":"2022-03-22T11:40:15","slug":"dome-kwabenya-residents-to-demonstrate-against-adwoa-safo-over-absence-in-constituency","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinetv.com\/?p=36830","title":{"rendered":"Dome-Kwabenya residents to demonstrate against Adwoa Safo over absence in constituency"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/api.whatsapp.com\/send?text=Check%20this%20out%20on%20modernghana.com%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Emodernghana%2Ecom%2Fnews%2F1146686%2Fdome%2Dkwabenya%2Dresidents%2Dto%2Ddemonstrate%2Dagainst%2Ehtml\"><\/a>Residents of the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency in the Greater Accra Region have served notice of a demonstration over the whereabouts of their Member of Parliament, Sarah Adwoa Safo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aggrieved residents are from Ashongman Estate, Dome, Kwabenya, and Musouku.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The spokesperson for the group, Mr Andy Kankam, told Accra 100.5 FM\u2019s midday news that the disappearance of the MP is derailing the development needs of the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr Kankam contested that there is no development ongoing in the Constituency since the disappearance of the MP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He argued that the MP&#8217;s long absence from the area is a source of worry for the constituents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said the situation where people get elected and want to lord it over the people who voted them into office will not be entertained in Dome-Kwabenya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe demand some modicum of respect from our MP,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis is not a matter of the NDC or NPP but about the development of the Constituency,\u201d he stressed, adding that the NPP can resolve whatever issues with Adwoa Safo at the party level but \u201cwe, by right, are demanding to know the whereabouts of our MP.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He disclosed that they will finalise modalities with the police administration to demonstrate and drum home their displeasure with the behaviour of the MP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adwoa Safo has been on leave but recently extended it for additional four weeks to take care of her injured child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SEND A STORY:<\/strong>\u00a0Do you have a story for us or need a promotion\/advertisement?
