It began around 10:30 pm around Lapaz and neighbouring towns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Residents in hard-hit areas such as Adabraka Sahara, had to abandon their homes to seek shelter elsewhere because the floodwaters entered their rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/417193C9-6C17-477A-9B5A-B3B21AAFD27D.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-853824\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Most roads, especially around the Kaneshie First Light, Dansoman, Pam Prom traffic light stretch among others, became unmotorable, leaving workers and students stranded on Tuesday morning.&nbsp; \u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In some parts of the city, trees had fallen off.
