One of the National Democratic Congress\u2019s outspoken MPs, Okudzeto Ablakwa, says Eugene Arhin\u2019s defence does not change the cost of Nana Addo\u2019s flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His statement is in response to the Director of Communications to the presidency\u2019s statement he released yesterday with regards to the president\u2019s expensive jet he chartered to the summit in Belgium and Rwanda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the statement from Eugene Arhin, the President did not fly with the said flight K5-Aviation from Accra but on transit because there was an alleged strike action by workers which was going to cause stranding, therefore the need for the president to charter the aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, honorable Okudzeto Ablakwa in a tweet says this explanation does not change the cost of the chartered jet. Whether from Accra, or Kigali, or wheresoever Nana Addo boarded the flight, the cost of the flight remains 480, 000 euros, which is 4.1 million Ghana Cedi equivalent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
