First National Vice Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sofo Awudu Azorka has revealed how the fight over who succeeded the late Alhaji Ibrahim Mobila as Northern Regional Chairman of the party started at the cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI was saddened at the cemetery at the burial of the late Northern Regional Chairman of the NDC. The young ones who were at the cemetery may not grow to his age before we die. You were at the cemetery when the man was not even buried and concerned about who becomes the Regional Chairman\u201d, he lamented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the former Northern Regional NDC Chairman who use swear words, the confusion was brewed at the cemetery during the night even before the mortal remains of the late Alhaji Ibrahim Mobila were interred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt all started at the cemetery that night I swear to God. I pulled my colleagues who were by me to move. Those who were having that discussion could not tell whether we were the ones or not. I felt terrible over the incident. The one who is dead is gone for good but those of us alive must draw useful lessons\u201d, he advised on Tamale-based Radio Tamale monitored by MyNewsGh.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI am shocked they were making such a decision at the cemetery. They insisted that their will must be done. I am an elder and want the party to win an election so I would not mention names but I know all of them\u201d, he revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
