Kumawood actor Wayoosi says Ghanaians are hypocrites for making it appear like John Mahama committed bad things while Akufo-Addo is labelled as an angel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking with Ambassador TV, the actor said he thanked the ex-president for bringing him treatment when he almost died of renal ailment in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Right after the video got public, a buddy phoned him to tell him a preacher who professes to appreciate him disapproved of the video in which he thanked Mahama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA friend of mine called me from Qatar, telling me a pastor asked him \u2018what has Wayoosi done?\u2019 He says you made a video thanking the ex-president and that the pastor claims he likes me but was disappointed. I insulted him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf the man claims he likes me, has he ever called me to say hello before? Just because I spoke to Mahama, is he (Mahama) an animal? If I had said this for Nana Addo then it is okay,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When he grew unwell in 2016, he said, the NDC flagbearer dispatched a minister with money and offered to fly him abroad for a kidney transplant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDo you remember when I fell ill in 2016 when I had a kidney problem? The sitting president, John Dramani Mahama, heard of my situation on social media and sent the then minister, Mrs Elizabeth Ofosu Agyapong, to come to my aid with a sum of GHC5000 for my bills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe also told me that if they couldn\u2019t take care of me, he would fly me abroad for a kidney transplant. I asked myself what I had done for him. I haven\u2019t done anything for him, and at that time, our sitting president was then a flagbearer for the NPP. I guess I would appreciate him if he also came to me. Ghanaians are hypocrites,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
