The Chinese gala queen En \u201cAisha\u201d Huang is in possession of a legitimate \u201cNON-CITIZEN IDENTITY CARD\u201d (Ghana Card), which has been authenticated by the National Identification Authority (NIA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
More information on En Huang, a Chinese national who was detained last week after allegedly sneaking back into Ghana to resume illegal mining activities, is coming to light. In 2018, she was returned to China, her country of origin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, recent information suggests that she entered Ghana illegally and proceeded to renew a \u201cNon-Citizen Identity Card\u201d (Ghana Card), for which the NIA claims she initially applied and received on February 26, 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the Foreigner Identification Management System (FIMS) registration center in Nhyiaeso, Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region, she completed her first application and registration in 2014. She had her biometrics taken, and a Non-citizen Ghana Card was given to her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She later renewed her passport twice more, on August 31, 2016, and on January 8, 2018, using the same information with the name En Huang and Chinese passport number G39575625.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite being a deportee, she apparently entered the country illegally, reissued the card, and had it stamped with a new validity date of February 27, 2022 to February 26, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The renewal, however, took place in Tamale on August 25, 2022, according to the NIA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She attended an NIA Registration center in Tamale, in the Northern Region, on August 25, 2022, and renewed that \u201cNon-Citizen Ghana Card,\u201d according to the NIA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She had attempted to register as a new applicant under the name RUIXIA HUANG, but the NIA claims that attempt was not without incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She once more provided a new birthdate of November 7, 1975, which coincided with the new passport she had with the designation EJ5891162. She was born on July 7, 1986, according to her prior NON CITIZEN IDENTITY Ghana Card, which was already in the NIA system. Her biometrics displayed the inconsistency and retrieved her old data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The NIA claimed that she had changed her name as the reason for her behavior. She was unable to present an affidavit when NIA officials demanded supporting documents, which is what they needed to make the modification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The NIA noted in its press release that Tamale NIA employees renewed the card for her using the information already in the system, but they made no mention of the disparity and inconsistent date of birth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
