Legendary Ghanaian musician, Charles Kwadwo Fosu aka Daddy Lumba celebrated his 58th birthday on Thursday, September 29, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On this special occasion, renowned Ghanaian media personality, Austine Woode decided to host a special Twitter space to celebrate one of the greatest musicians Ghana has seen in the last two decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even though Austine has been off mainstream media for some time now because he is supposedly venturing into agriculture now, the former Multimedia Group employee did just to the space as he has done over the years on radio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While celebrating the legend who is the son of Adwoa Saah, Austine Woode made a special appeal to the government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He made an appeal to the government of Ghana to name the yet-to-be-completed creative arts school in Kumasi music icon, Daddy Lumba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Austine, the key players in Ghana\u2019s creative industry have not been recognized by the state, especially when naming state monuments after such personalities who distinguished themselves well in their field of endeavour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Making points to buttress his call, the media personality said that for what Daddy Lumba has achieved over years and for the number of talents he has mentored, the musician deserved recognition hence his appeal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The father of one stressed that the government must consider naming the creative arts school in Kwadaso, Kumasi as the DADDY LUMBA SCHOOL OF CREATIVE ARTS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
