The Ghana Police personnel have arrested Patricia Asiedu also known by many as Nana Agradaa following money doubling scam allegation leveled against her by thousands of her church members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nana Agradaa was on the hunt by the Ghana police personnel in the early hours of Sunday, October 9, 2022 following her recent alleged money-doubling scam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nana Agradaa rebranded from a fetish priestess to an evangelist (Patricia Asiedu) a few months ago after claiming to have repented. Her repentance and ordination were a result of her arrest by Ghana Police for illegally operating two Television stations, using the stations to defraud citizens in a sugar-coated \u2018Sika Gari\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She built an ultra-modern edifice as a Church in Weija, Accra, and named it Heaven Way Church a few weeks after she was ordained by infamous persons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, on Friday and Saturday, an alarm was blown by her Church members, suggesting that she had defrauded them in the name of money-doubling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Short clips of the affected Church members pouring out their frustration went viral on social media, drawing the attention of the Ghana Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Ghana Police after getting the information launched an investigation and urged persons who possess relevant information that can help trap her down to prevail themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Ghana Police also assured the aggrieved victims to calm down, they should not take laws into their own hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Police have commenced investigation into alleged money doubling scam allegedly perpetrated against some members of the Heaven Way Church in Weija, Accra, by the founder of the church Patricia Asiedua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The investigation was initiated following reports that have come to the attention of the Police on the matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We would like to urge anyone with information that can assist the investigation to report to the Accra Regional Police Command at Accra Central close to the COCOBOD building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While investigation continues, we urge everyone, especially those who might have been affected to remain calm and not take the law into their own hands.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, In the midday of the same day (Sunday), the Ghana Police confirmed that she was arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Police have arrested Patricia Asiedua alias Nana Agradaa following allegations of money doubling scam levelled against her by some members of the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The suspect is currently assisting police investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyone who is a victim of the alleged money doubling scam should report to the Accra Regional Police Command for further action to assist the investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
