According to the chairman of the pentecostal and Charismatic Council of the christian community, Rev. Dr. Paul Frimpong Manso, all the Metropolitan, Municipal, District Chief Executives the Regional Ministers to the Land Commissioners who are involved in the fight against galamsey should be sacked as a matter of urgency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Reverend said that the inability of the government to win the galamsey war is due to the fact that such class of dignitaries are involved in the fight. According to him it is now time for the christian community to join the fight in it highest level owing to what he saw during a visit to one of the galamsey site in the Ashanti Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rev. Dr. Frimpong added that based on what he saw the MMDCEs the Land Commissioners are part of the country\u2019s inability to succeed in the fight against galamsey and for that matter there is no reason why such officers who are appointed to chair the teams in fighting a menace will fail and still be maintained in office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhen you failed in your duty post for more than once that suggest that you are not qualified to run that office and must be fired\u201d, said Rev. Dr. Paul Frimpong. As he spoke on behind the news, Rev Frimpong said he does not understand why such officers will still be maintained after several evidence of incompetencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Rev further stated that come Monday 17th October the Pentecostal and Charismatic Council of the Christian Community will demonstrate to show their dissatisfaction and discomfort over how the lands created by God have been destroyed with careless abandons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is therefore calling on the president to take a second look at some of his appointees if only he wants to succeed in governance. \u201cIf I was in the position as the president of the Republic of Ghanahana today as I speak by now I have sacked most of my MMDCEs and Ministers\u201d, said Dr Paul Frimpong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
