The Police has contacted musician Shatta Wale to assist in investigations into the murder of late artiste Manager Fennec Okyere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ghana Police Service, in a statement seen by\u00a0Peacefmonline\u00a0<\/strong>and signed by\u00a0<\/strong>Chief Superintendent of Police, Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Director, Public Affairs, indicated that\u00a0the recently set up \u2018Cold Case Unit\u2019\u00a0 working on unresolved murder cases has been\u00a0working on the case and many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shatta Wale has been invited by Police following a tweet by him accusing his former manager, Bulldog, of masterminding the murder of Fennec Okyere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dancehall artiste and his former Manager whose real name is Lawrence Asiamah Hanson have recently engaged in a social media war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their fight started after Bulldog claimed that Black Sheriff\u2019s album \u2018The Villian I Never Was\u2019 would perform better than Shatta Wale\u2019s \u2018GOG\u2019 album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shedding light on the Fennec\u2019s demise, Shatta Wale tweeted; \u201cBull Dog since u r bringing out secrets You will tell Ghanaians What happen to Fenicks Murder!! And I am not joking about this time!! I am ready to tell the court about what you told me about you and your men and how planned that foolish act get ready<\/em>
This Akuffo Addo won\u2019t give you a murder chance to be on our streets!!! Watch how this ends!!! You can\u2019t fight time!!!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tweet has engendered the Police\u2019s response stating; \u201cThis new development from Shatta Wale is therefore going to complement our ongoing investigation. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the families who have been working with the Cold Case Unit since its establishment for their cooperation and understanding. We wish to assure the public that the Police will continue to work relentlessly on these cases in order to bring closure to the affected families.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
