{"id":55252,"date":"2022-11-15T14:24:34","date_gmt":"2022-11-15T14:24:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinegh.com\/?p=55252"},"modified":"2022-11-15T14:24:38","modified_gmt":"2022-11-15T14:24:38","slug":"it-is-our-duty-to-remain-united-and-leave-a-good-legacy-for-the-next-generation-barekesehene","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinetv.com\/?p=55252","title":{"rendered":"<strong>It Is Our Duty To Remain United And Leave A Good Legacy For The Next Generation \u2013 Barekesehene.<\/strong>"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The chief of Barekese the capital city of the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti Region, Nana Amoapem Brenya I has disclosed that if the people of Barekese rally behind him in peace and unity they would jointly leave a good legacy for the next generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing a section of the residents at the Barekese palace on Sunday November 13 2022 to climax the Akwasidae event, the chief observed that unity brings peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And that without such qualities efforts to develop an economy would tend to be a mirage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apparently referring to the recent alleged chieftaincy conflicts at the town which Asantehene quickly intervened, Nana said conflicts cannot develop an effective society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nana Amoapem Brenya I explained that during the reign of his ancestral chiefs they lived with the people in unity and that attitudes helped to maintain peace and order until this generation where they have also taken over to rule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The chief cited for instance that the last chief of Barekese who have passed on for eternity, Nana Akowuah ruled the town for 58 solid years and no one heard of any conflicts at Barekese.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nana told his people that the legacy which Barekese is now enjoying was masterminded through unity and peace of&nbsp;the late chiefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And asked about the reason why at this era some alleged faceless citizens have decided to thwart the archievements that our forefathers chalked for the town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are in a democratic dispensation and we need to share ideas in unity towards development but not through violence means that could stall the progress of Barekese, Nana Brenya I pointed out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He reminded the townsfolk to understand that the Ancient Greeks allegedly brought the democracy to build their economies through positive thinking and sense of direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Which means that opinion sharing must be free,fair and constructive devoid of violence or hatred to archieve positive results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said it is through such principles hence the success story of the Greeks, thus compelling the world to engage in democratic practices to build their economies today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barekesehene was of the opinion that the residents would take advantage of the Akwasidae event and advise each other to promote peace and unity at Barekese to help build the town for the sake of the future&nbsp;generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Content created and supplied by: Kingam<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SEND A STORY:<\/strong>\u00a0Do you have a story for us or need a promotion \/ advertisement?
