In response to the Adhoc Committee looking into Ken Ofori-Atta, the Ministry stated that a total of GH\u20b5339,003,064.86 had been released for the National Cathedral\u2019s construction thus far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry claims that the government contributed GH\u20b5\u200e25 million to the project in March 2022, which caused a controversy. Numerous religious groups have already given GH\u20b5\u200e2.21 million to the National Cathedral\u2019s development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry additionally stated in an official document provided to the Adhoc Committee that Messrs Sir David Adjaye and Associates of the UK, had received payments totaling GH\u20b5\u200e113,040,654.86 to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of Ghana\u2019s 60th anniversary festivities, the interdenominational Christian cathedral known as the National Cathedral of Ghana is expected to be constructed in Accra, the country\u2019s capital.
