{"id":57527,"date":"2022-12-09T14:32:12","date_gmt":"2022-12-09T14:32:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinegh.com\/?p=57527"},"modified":"2022-12-09T16:33:57","modified_gmt":"2022-12-09T16:33:57","slug":"gfa-saudi-arabian-football-federation-sign-mou-for-mutual-benefit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinetv.com\/?p=57527","title":{"rendered":"GFA, Saudi Arabian Football Federation sign MoU for mutual benefit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myjoyonline.com\/gfa-saudi-arabian-football-federation-sign-mou-for-mutual-benefits\/?myjo\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.myjoyonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/GFA-MoU-636x424.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Saudi Arabian Football Association (SAFF) and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for our mutual benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SAFF President Yasser Almisehal and GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku put pen to paper in a signing ceremony held at Saudi House in Doha on Thursday, December 8, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement aims to develop strong relations between the two Federations to help the promotion, growth and success of football at all levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It provides a framework for collaboration across all areas of the game, from grassroots to elite football, including youth and women\u2019s football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SAFF is committed to hosting both the Ghanaian men and women national teams for matches and training camps as well as exchanges for key experts across areas related to coaching, refereeing or administrative matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re excited to establish this MoU with the Ghana Football Association and create this partnership moving forward,\u201d said President Al Misehal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe quality and talent in Ghanaian football is known across the world and we at SAFF are keen to work closely together to allow our youngsters to gain valuable playing experience while benefiting from their key insights and strengths. We look forward to working together in a meaningful manner and open up mutually beneficial opportunities.\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.myjoyonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/GFA-Saudi.jpg\" alt=\"GFA, Saudi Arabian Football Federation sign MoU for mutual benefits\" class=\"wp-image-10032224566\" title=\"GFA, Saudi Arabian Football Federation sign MoU for mutual benefits\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Commenting on the new partnership, Ghana Football Association President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku said, \u201cGhana has a longstanding relationship with Saudi Arabia and it is only right that we expand this level of cooperation to football \u2013 an area that unites people\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur brothers at the SAFF led by President Yasser Al Misehal have clearly demonstrated their desire to strengthen their football to reach the highest level and we also have the same vision so it is essential for us to partner in various areas of the game to achieve our aims and objectives.\u201d President Simeon-Okraku added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the fastest-growing countries in world sport with football at its heart.
