{"id":58993,"date":"2022-12-21T15:12:43","date_gmt":"2022-12-21T15:12:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinegh.com\/?p=58993"},"modified":"2022-12-21T15:13:11","modified_gmt":"2022-12-21T15:13:11","slug":"westside-carnival-kicks-off-dec-24","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinetv.com\/?p=58993","title":{"rendered":"<strong>Westside Carnival Kicks Off Dec 24<\/strong>"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This year\u2019s edition of the biggest carnival in Ghana, the Westside Carnival (WC),will take place from December 24 to December 26 in Takoradi, the organisers have announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>BEATWAVES<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;gathered that the event, organised by Skyy Media Group in collaboration with Masquerades Federation,is the key attraction that has made Sekondi-Takoradi the most enjoyable Christmas destination in Ghana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s carnival is expected to be the biggest version ever organised, as it is fused with numerous events that are likely to make the carnival a great experience for patrons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Activities include\u2018Masquerade Performances\u2019, \u2018Gospel Praise Festival\u2019, \u2018WestsideLegacy Night\u2019among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three-day carnival kicks off with \u2018Westside Carnival Ebony Float\u2019 on Saturday, December 24 plus \u2018Masquerade Performances\u2019before \u2018NLA Live Draw\u2019 at 7pm followed by \u2018 Night\u2019 featuring Kwabena Kwabena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Sunday, December25, there will be a masquerade fashion parade which starts from noon, as fancy models take to the street to showcase their new beautiful attires followed by Westside Carnival brass band competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018Western Region Has Talent\u2019 will take centre stage after the brass band contest featuring Star Dreamers, before Lasmid takes to the stage at 10pm followed bythe \u2018WC Praise Festival\u2019 featuring Lady Joy, El Manuel, KDM and KODA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Monday, December 26, there will be events such as \u2018Westside Carnival Night\u2019featuring top talents from various music genres in the Western Region, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The carnival is brought to you by MTN, and sponsored by Ebony Condoms and NLA with support from GTA, Latex Foam, Adonko, Class Motors, Derray Man Bitters and partnered by Skyy Power 93.5 FM, Westgold 106.3FM, STMA, Whitelab and Sekondi-Takoradi Masquerades Federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SEND A STORY:<\/strong>&nbsp;Do you have a story for us or need a promotion \/ advertisement?
