Dec. 24 (UPI) \u2014 Reality television personality and singer Tamar Braxton announced on Instagram that she was hospitalized with the flu this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis isn\u2019t an attention post\u2026 this is an ATTENTION post.. literally I was with my best friends @normankgyamfi and @wardellmalloy shopping and doing Christmas fun sht and the VERY NEXT DAY I had to be taken to the hospital by AMBULANCE, needed oxygen cause I thought God was taking me home cause I could not breathe and my chest was on FIRE!!\u201d Braxton posted Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI was taken to @northsidehosp and was met by the BEST nurses and doctors including @therealdrjackie to find out what\u2019s wrong\u2026 yall, I have the FLU and let me tell u it\u2019s worse than COVID in my opinion\u2026 I\u2019m on 5 different medications ..please be careful.. I wasn\u2019t around a lot people and have NO IDEA where it came from.. enjoy y\u2019all holiday AT HOME.. u don\u2019t want this .. oh yeah I\u2019m completely isolated cause it\u2019s hella contagious I love y\u2019all for real.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
