<\/p>\n\n\n\nRegarding the widely shared video of herself smoking a cigar with D-Black, “who is like a brother to me,” Fella Makafui has spoken out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She appeared on Hitz FM’s morning show with Andy Dosty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The actress began by stating, “I would not want to channel my energy into this whole thing,” emphasising that D-Black “is my big brother.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I went there with my friends to chill,” she said, referring to the “thousands of people in the club.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grinning, Fella stated that she had “no comments” for her ex-husband Medikal, who has expressed a lot of frustration over the video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She continued, “It is funny enough that I can not remember when I last went to the club.” \u201cI hardly\u2026 I hardly go to clubs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI just think I have outgrown a lot of things, honestly,\u201d the occasional singer explained. \u201cAnd I find so much peace and time with my business than anything else.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m not saying people who go to the clubs don\u2019t have jobs or whatever but personally, I\u2019ve just outgrown a lot of things,\u201d Fella Makafui clarified, as she also observed the irony of her first club outing in a while ending in controversy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The social media star revealed what took her to the club in the first place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“My influencer friends from Nigeria came in; in fact, we even visited the Republic.” We went to a lot of places, and I just hit my brother [D-Black] up and was like: \u2018Bro, chale, my friends are in; could you kindly host us?\u2019 He said yes. I mean, he gave us free drinks and all. I mean, that was just it,\u201d she elaborated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before the moment seen in the video, it had been \u201cabout a year\u201d since she last saw D-Black, she revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rapper Medikal, real name Samuel Adu Frimpong, is the father of Island, a child who turns four in August, along with Fella Makafui. The two were married in March 2020 until March 2024, when Medikal announced on social media that they had parted ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Fella is no longer my wife; she is the mother of my child. We are now co-parenting, and everything is going well,” he wrote on X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also, filmmaker Fella no longer identifies herself as Mrs. Frimpong in her Instagram biography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When Medikal saw the viral video of Fella and D-Black enjoying cigars together, he attacked the latter on social media and added a diss track. In an interview, he told 3Music TV’s Culture Daily crew that what D-Black did, sharing a cigar with Fella, was “disrespectful,” even comparing it to him hypothetically having an affair with “b*t*h a** n***a” D-Black’s partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some members of the public insist that these events are being staged to promote Medikal’s debut concert at the Indigo 02 in London on May 3, 2024, while others think they are just sincere misunderstandings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The most recent film that Fella Makafui has produced is called Resonance.
