The money I was provided was not enough so I was arguing with the pastor who booked us for the programme. Not knowing, the pastor had paid Ernest more than what he had told me,\u201d she disclosed on Kasapa FM.<\/p>\n<p>According Joyce, Kwesi Ernest, after they parting with her, asked some radio presenters and DJs to stop playing her songs on the radio.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow can you say I have released three albums without getting them to the limelight? That literally means Zylofon has made a big mistake for signing me. I have never talked ill about you but you always paint me black to everyone,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>She said, she, together with her husband Dave, borrowed money from people to invest in her music career, reiterating that Kwesi was not part of the struggle they went through.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_410563\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-410563\" src=\"https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/dave-joy.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/dave-joy.jpg 574w, https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/dave-joy-288x300.jpg 288w\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"666\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dave &amp; Joyce Blessing<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI can count the number of times Media Excel took me to the studio to record my songs. That won\u2019t be more than three times. Kwesi Ernest only has links with people in the media,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Not long ago, Ernest Kwesi in an interview with Graphic Showbiz said it was a bad decision for artistes who were doing well with certain record labels to walk away.<\/p>\n<p>He cited examples of artistes whose exit from record labels has yielded good results for their music trade.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJoyce Blessing was doing great with Media Excel and now that she has found her way to Zylofon, she has released about three albums and she is still not doing well,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n<p>Kwesi also stated that Cecilia Marfo was doing so well till her husband started managing her.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_410566\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-410566\" src=\"https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Kwesi-Ernest-1.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Kwesi-Ernest-1.jpg 660w, https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Kwesi-Ernest-1-300x182.jpg 300w\" alt=\"\" width=\"660\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Kwesi Ernest \u2013 CEO of Media Excel<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWutah finally had to come back together and with Praye, you should see the euphoria in the auditorium when they came on stage at this year\u2019s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, they don\u2019t need anybody to advise them to come back together,\u201d he further stated.<\/p>\n<p>Joyce Blessing parted ways with Media Excel in 2017 and joined\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/citinewsroom.com\/2018\/05\/20\/my-problem-with-zylofon-media-is-not-shatta-wale-stonebwoy\/\">Zylofon Music<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0record label few months later.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The rift between gospel musician Joyce Blessing and her former manager Kwesi Ernest seems not to be resolving any time soon.
