{"id":9569,"date":"2018-07-05T12:09:40","date_gmt":"2018-07-05T12:09:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kumasionlinegh.com\/?p=9569"},"modified":"2018-07-05T12:12:00","modified_gmt":"2018-07-05T12:12:00","slug":"somebody-has-taken-my-music-to-juju-before-minister-oj","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kumasionlinetv.com\/?p=9569","title":{"rendered":"Somebody has taken my music to \u2018juju\u2019 before \u2013 Minister OJ"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Gospel musician Michael Oware Sakyi, known in gospel music circles as OJ has confirmed the perception that some gospel musicians rely on voodoo power for the success of their careers.<\/p>\n<p>According to the \u2018Etisen\u2019 single, a fellow musician once took his music to a shrine, known in Ghanaian parlance as \u2018juju.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>He told television host Stacy on \u2018Restoration\u2019 that even though the person tried to kill his music career by taking his songs to the ritualist, he finally got disgraced.<\/p>\n<p>When Stacy asked if it was true that some people take other musicians\u2019 CDs to \u2018juju\u2019 to bring them down, he responded the affirmative adding that it happened to him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOf course there is. They do it. Somebody has done that to me before,\u201d he revealed.<\/p>\n<p>When asked how he got to know, he said \u201cIt was revealed through prayer and three prophets confirmed it. They hadn\u2019t seen it, I had not told them anything and they told me how the person was going to be disgraced and truthfully the person has been disgraced.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also noted that not all gospel musicians have been called By God.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Nq3_9BBfvxc\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>According to him some of them are doing gospel music because of their stomachs or because others are benefiting from it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople have very funny reasons for doing things. Some of us what we are doing is a calling and it is a covenant that my grandfather had with God to give him somebody like this the family. I don\u2019t struggle to write my songs.
