COVID-19: 597 new cases recorded; recoveries now 12, 257

There’s been a surge in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ghana according to the latest update provided by the Ghana Health Service.

Ghana has recorded 597 new cases in less than 24 hours surging the number of cases to 16,431.

Out of this number, 12, 257 have been discharged.

Ghana’s death toll stands at 103 from yesterday while active cases are 4,071.

Greater Accra Region continues to lead with the highest number of cases followed by the Ashanti and Western regions,

Eastern Region – 541

Volta Region – 335

Upper East Region – 271
