Ex-tourism Minister replaces SK Boafo as chairperson of Minerals Commission Board

Former Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Barbara Oteng-Gyasi, has been appointed and sworn in as the new chairperson of the Minerals Commission Governing Board.

She replaces former Ashanti Regional Minister, S.K. Boafo, as Chairperson of the Commission.

Madam Oteng-Gyasi was appointed by President Nana Akufo-Addo and sworn into office with other members of the board on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, by the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel A.Jinapor.
