Second Lady Shows Humility At Mother-in-law’s Funeral; Seen Cooking And Serving The Locals

The daughter in law of the late Hajia Mariama Bawumia, Samira Bawumia today was spotted at the final funeral rite of her mother in-law.

In photos that have since attracted massive public uproar and reactions on social media, Samira Bawumia was seen stirring the local food for the people who attended the funeral ceremony.

As tradition require, daughter in laws are mandated to join the cooking team in any family gatherings. The funeral ceremony of Hajia Mariama Bawumia is not different.

Mourners from all walks of life assembled at the Bawumia’s hometown to observe the final funeral rites and throw support and love for the vice president. Not forgetting local people from his hometown Walewale.

Clad in black with her fully covered hair, Samira Bawumia stirred the local food with all enthusiasm and shared the food to the people in humility despite her status as the second lady.
