Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta is expected to present the 2022 Budget on November 15, 2022. Many are however not optimistic of the budget. The country has had to bear the repercussions of Covid-19. Though the government has imposed new taxes and called on Ghanaians to bear the burden, there have been instances where state officials have shown opulence and public extravagance.

Many in government however feel there is hope for the Ghanaian economy. Government feel that the NDC left the economy in a bad shape and Covid-19 has further crippled parts of the economy. They however raise hope that things are turning right and all will be well soon. As Ghanaians await the next budget reading, the opposition NDC feel there shouldn’t be nothing to be proud of in the next reading.

On Alhaji and Alhaji, Alhassan Suhuyini lamented at the state of the economy. According to him everything in the past 5 years shows that Ghanaians should lower their expectations as they might even be crippled with more taxes. He noted that as Ghanaians suffer, the President and his men use taxpayers’ money to pamper themselves and spend on women.

To be honest I don’t think we expect to see anything in this Serwaa Broni Budget. There will be nothing new” Alhassan Suhuyini said

The NDC lawmaker explained that the only way Ghanaians can change this negative trend was to speak and kick out the Akufo-Addo led government. Serwaa Broni has been trending for some days after there were unconfirmed reports that he was the President’s side chick. Since then there has been so many trending photos of the lady many have come to be the close pal of President Akufo-Addo. Some say this is nothing but propaganda from the opposition NDC to derail the president.
