Ghanaians have massively descended on the President and government over the unfortunate sacking of Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) trainees by the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs.

The statement signed by Dedaa Wiredu Agyei said all NABCO trainees under the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs should be relieved of their current duties and exit from the service because ended in October 2021.

“This is to kindly remind you that, the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) program ended at the end of October 2021. Unfortunately, the information reaching the honorable Minister currently indicates that some trainees are still at post.”

“You are kindly requested to relieve all the trainees of their current duties and allow them exit from the service.” The statement from the Ministry said.

This news came as a surprise to all Ghanaians as the Nations Builders Corps has been one of the most talked-about initiatives from the President that is helping curb the employment situation in the country.

Therefore, Ghanaians took to social media to express their disappointment in President Nana Addo and his government for how badly they’ve treated the NABCO trainees in the past few months.

After the NABCO program ended in October 2021, they were called back and are currently, the government owes them about four months of their allowance. This, a lot of the trainees have cried about and complained bitterly to the government.
