Yesterday, the Asanteman Council met to celebrate the 87th Asante Restoration Day. They used the opportunity to unveil the new members of the Asanteman Standing Committee just like how Otumfuo Asantehene tasked Nana Mamponhene during the first Asanteman Council Meeting this year.
The new committee members cover all the 6 Regions that form part of the Asanteman Council.
These Committee Members will see to it the wellbeing of Chiefs in their care, and if any Chief deserves to be raised to Paramount status, they will work on it.
