A Tanzanian Parliamentary Adhoc Committee on Salaries, Allowances and Conditions of Service for members and staff of parliament is in Ghana for a two-day benchmarking visit to Ghana’s Parliament.

The delegation, made up of four members of the committee and four parliamentary staff, had earlier called on Mr Alban Bagbin, the Speaker of Parliament on Thursday.

The delegation would interact and share ideas on emoluments, and conditions of service of members of Parliament.

They are also expected to liaise with the parliamentarians to exchange ideas and learn practices of Ghana’s Parliament as well as how Parliament works in Ghana.
